EMily a harris

Having studied History of Art at the University of Leeds, she has since been an advocate for the creative industries working in marketing at cultural institutions such as the Royal Academy of Arts and British Library.

She established her own studio practice just under two years ago. Proudly self-taught, her original work finds solace in the steadying force of nature and explores our complicated relationship with it - the joy and beauty we find, how we underestimate it and abuse it. Predominantly, she works in paint and experiments in living sculpture. She aims for her art to be a joyful and beautiful entry point to the climate conversation and the uncomfortable realities we, as a society, face.
